Apollo Glass Gives Back to our Schools

In About Us, Apollo Glass Gives Back

As families prepare for the 2020-21 school year, many are faced with additional challenges. While some elect to pursue distance learning, and students in secondary schools embrace a hybrid model, the demands of technology at home are at an all-time high. Apollo Glass wants to help ease the stress for local residents by donating 10 Chromebooks to District 877 to assist with distance learning.

For the last six months, the Apollo Glass Gives Back program has provided local families in need with grocery gift cards to help make ends meet. More than 100 families benefited from this program, but as the school year drew near, the AGGB team wanted to shift focus and help students prepare for an unique learning experience. Notebooks, pencils, and highlighters will not be enough this year; those without home computers or reliable internet are in need of support. AGGB understands there are families in our community that need help in providing technology so students can meet standards for distance learning. These challenging times are hard for everyone, and our students should be prepared for whatever learning environment comes their way.

If you, or your business, is interested in providing support to your community schools, please reach out. In the Buffalo Hanover Montrose School district, our contact is Matthew Nelson, Technology Director, at 763 – 682 – 8426.

We are proud to support our community by giving back to individuals and organizations in need for the past two years. Learn more about Apollo Glass and the Apollo Glass Gives Back campaign here.
