Apollo Glass Gives back in 2020

This was a big year. Our community has been impacted in ways we couldn’t have dreamed about a year ago. Which is why we are so proud to have a charitable giving arm of the business; to give back and support those in need when it matters most.

Apollo Glass Gives Back was started in 2019 to support local charities in our surrounding communities. Each quarter we selected an organization that supported our community and donated money or promoted a needs-based event. When Covid-19 hit earlier this year we decided to pivot our contributions from local organizations to directly support families in need. We were humbled, and honored, to donate the following to our community this year:

January-March 2020: $500 to Wrestling for Life, supporting suicide prevention and crisis control for first responders. 

March-July 2020: Donated $25 grocery gift cards to more than 100 families in our area that needed immediate help making ends meet.

August-October 2020: Partnered with District 877 to donate 10 Chromebooks to assist with Distance Learning in our community.

November-December 2020: Donated 20 Christmas Trees (from the local Knights of Columbus tree lot) and $20 Target gift cards for families that need a little extra Christmas spirit this season.

We hope 2021 brings abundant blessings to our community and look forward to continuing our support.
